2Chronicles 14:1-7; Genesis 1:1-5

Interrupted peace like interrupted sleep can leave on thoroughly frustrated, tired and lacking the energy to accomplish simple task.  Interrupted peace leaves you hard pressed to find a rhythm to life; a way of counting on or anticipating the next move.  Interruptions like this can be completely miserable.

In the Chronicles we find more order and organization than its counter-part Kings because the writer (Believed to be Ezra) seeks to convey things in a chronological order.  He also wants to bring home the point of God’s sovereignty throughout the reign of the Kings as he highlights obedience versus disobedience.  Blessings seem to be associated with connection and conversation with God versus the curses or rejection that come from independence and isolation from God.
